DJ Coffman of Hero by Night fame has a ebook/coaching course out there that tries to show you how to make money as a cartoonist or comic book artist. He would know right? I mean everyone's heard of him!

I'm rather leery of people who proclaim themselves as masters or teachers and offer to sell you the knowledge that got them where they are. Reminds me of those "get rich quick" infomercials where their "real trick" was to create an infomercial to make money.
